
Rents for office space in Leipzig are set to rise significantly in 2024, despite the current economic downturn. In the city center and for new lettings, cold rents of €20/sqm are being achieved for the first time – this corresponds to an increase of over 11% compared to the previous year. Median rents for modern city offices have also increased and now average €13.50/sqm.
As in previous crises, the Leipzig office market is once again demonstrating its resilience. Demand is concentrated primarily on smaller and medium-sized offices, making the market less cyclical than in other major German cities.
